BEHIND THE LENS

​

I am a 36 year old woman whom found her passion for photography at a young age. It was when I was first given a Polaroid Onestep Rainbow SX-70. I would run around taking pictures of everything and anything. I loved how you instantly got your picture after you captured it, it mesmerized me.

 

As I grew older, I became interested in Drawing and anything creative. I slowly began to drift away from photography and decided to get a diploma in DTPD. After I finished my course and graduated, I decided to enroll into The Fine Arts program at Durham College. Throughout my journey I realized I needed to focus on one pathway and that was when it hit me. Photography was my calling. I then enrolled into the Photography program at Durham College and never looked back.

Im in love with capturing the beauty in everything , showing people a different viewpoint or style they have yet to see.

Photography is a way I can express myself without words as well as be creative with my work.
